Well we arrived in LA at long last. The Cadillac Hotel is one star in 6 star location. Venice Beach is WILD!!!

I arrived in one piece so the cocculus did its job. The views from our palace were great both the beach and the bodies that is!!

The 5 hours in Auckland airport was hell...a precursor of things to come..... i was pulled aside and searched.....the first but NOT THE LAST!!!

wishful thinking

Well I have finished all my packing and have picked the other fartie Linda up from her house and we are just finishing off with some last minute shopping. I have got a packet of what i call "wishful thinking", and I am amazed that nowadays, they make them in glow in the dark for old farts like me who can't see all that well. You gotta love technology!!

Off we GO!!!

Well we are nearly packed and have organised all our medications, maps and acomodation. Di is an expreienced traveller as she had her first OS trip 3 years ago. Linda is a newbie and suffers from travel sickness. Di has been hypnotised to make her calmer. Should be a really interesting first flight.
